The “Sixteenth Sheep” Edition

Noah wonders why the show people here in Israel most want to see—more than at any time in the country’s history, and maybe in all of Jewish history—is a performance of children’s songs from a 47-year-old book of kids’ poems.

The answer says something about who we are and how we have changed. It also maybe says something about the times we are living through now.

This was a superb episode. Thank you for your research. You really should consider changing the format of your podcast. I feel most people who listen to your podcast know very well about what is going on in Israel. It’s not so informative to listen to talking heads rehash the news. The Haaretz podcast gives us experts. The 16th Sheep edition covered so much material. I really hope you repeat such efforts with a different subject.
