I live in Portugal as an Irish, Jewish Atheist and I do hear some times, if I choose to listen, some very misunderstood comments about Israel. Unfortunately, the Daily Mail is the first paper to be on the newsstands, I have so many arguments with individuals, many of whom are retired and believe what is written in that most informative but often very right- wing newspaper.
