TLV1, in conjunction with Jewish National Fund, is pleased to introduce the new installment of “Pathways,” a series of radio reports examining Israel’s history. Each week we will visit a different historical site throughout Israel, bringing you sounds, stories and illuminating perspectives.

In this report, prepared by journalist Mordechai I. Twersky and narrated by Meredith Ross, we visit the Ayalon Institute in Rehovot, site of a secret munitions factory beneath a Kibbutz that played in a key role in the establishment of the Jewish state.
