Tal Keinan on the price of Israel’s regional economic isolation

‘Drivers’ is an interview series with prominent Israeli business figures.

The host, Erin Kopelow, is co-founder and director of business development for Tel Aviv University’s Sofaer International MBA and a recent graduate of the Kellog-Recanati Executive MBA. Originally from Canada, Erin moved to Israel nine years ago and currently lives in Tel Aviv.

In 2005, Tal Keinan co-founded Clarity Capital, the first investment firm to export Israeli asset management services abroad.

Keinan, who was recognized as Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2010, tells TLV1 why it’s so critical that Israel become a global exporter of something other than technology. He also discusses the price of regional economic isolation and the problems with Israel’s ‘export/exploit’ economy.
