Architectural Digest: The Ethics of Designing for the Disabled

 

Professor Talia Margalit doesn’t just want her architecture students to study theories of designing for the physically and mentally disabled, she wants them to go out and experience it. Her unique course at Tel Aviv University’s Azrieli School of Architecture, co- created with Architect Tula Amir, takes students out into the field, to meet the people who are living in spaces designed to suit their special needs.
