American passport-holding Knesset Members who love Conservative and Reform Judaism have been voting against it, most recently passing a bill outlawing use of state ritual baths (mikvehs) by non-Orthodox converts. Noah, TLV1’s Gilad Halpern and Times of Israel Ops & Blogs Editor Miriam Herschlag discuss whether this makes them hypocrites.
This is a segment from the “Body-Politic Dysmorphia” Edition.
You asked in the introductory remarks to this podcast whether these politicians were hypocritical and should be cut with razors. I hope you will reflect on that choice of language and refrain from it in the future.
