Listening to your dialogue has even more convinced me that Israel and America are two siblings of different Mothers (so to speak.) The parallels of the ‘right’ and ‘left’ issues is uncanny. We here in this country, as ‘leftists’, are publicly under attack by our own government. This has been exacerbated by the emboldened ‘president elect’ and his lackeys… (my stomach churning has gone into overdrive!) – on our side of the globe we see a world going to hell in a handbasket with each new appointment by this new dictator, our ideals being shat upon and derided as so much fantasy!… You are not alone. I think we all need to do something about this – one is keep doing what TLV1 does best – had I the money you would be getting something right now… all I can offer is encouragement – but when I do get flush – I will be looking your way! Thank you for your insane sanity in this world that is going fucking NUTS! your friend in the Northwoods of Minnesota, Manuel. (and my Wife, Nan too!)

Thanks for the kind word! I feel sure that matters are less bad than them might seem on both sides of the Atlantic. Three million more Americans voted for Clinton than for Trump (and this after two victories for Pres. Obama). The raucous threats from the right sometimes seem to me to be so much wailing and gnashing of teeth, a backlash against all the gains that we have made over the past half century (with LGBTQ stuff the most dramatic example, but far from the only one). Anyway, it’s enchanting that we have a friend in the Northwoods of Minnesota, just as you do in Tel Aviv!
