Somehow I always seem to see everyone’s points as valid but this time, I am compelled agree wholeheartedly with Noah in that we, Israelis, on the “left” especially, must simply adopt silence as the solution. The whole situation speaks the old adage that miserable People cause their own demise and it is evident in this case as in priors. To give Don his true due, the Israeli moral compass has been particularly skewed due to a plethora of social and cultural factors throughout the last couple of decades, understandably so. The question is, can Israel lead, as it does in high tech innovation and life-saving medicine, the much needed change in the world’s moral compass ~ bringing it back to our original values of brotherly love and integrity. If Israel can do that, then we can keep our heads high at the end of it all, should that ever come. Perhaps, Israel has begun this sacred journey, and we will have a world reign of peace forever. You’re all appreciated, either way.
