The soldiers have no choice but to allow filming consequent of a High Court decision, and that has, I’d venture, prevented abuses and mistakes (loss of local command control) on the part of the IDF. The petition affirming the right to film was, I believe, made by one of the organizations targeted by the ruling coalition for defunding via foreign government bund bans.
